Air Tahiti Nui to fly to Seattle from October

Oceania carrier, Air Tahiti Nui, is scheduling twice a week nonstop flights between Papeete and Seattle from October operating with 787-9 aircraft. Read More » The airline also has signed a partnership with Alaska Airlines that allows members of the frequent flyer programmes of both carriers to earn and redeem points for travel on the networks of the two airlines. “It is with great enthusiasm we are launching this direct service to the U.S. Pacific Northwest," Air Tahiti Nui managing director, Mathieu Bechonnet, said. "Alaska Airlines is the perfect partner for this. We are looking with great excitement at the new commercial opportunities ahead." Seattle will be Air Tahiti Nui's second destination in the U.S. alongside Papeete-Los Angeles. Air Tahiti Nui recently announced it will resume flights to Auckland on May 5.
