Thai AirAsia to launch Taipei-Chiang Mai in peak holiday season

Read More » Taiwan’s capital will be the LCC group's fourth international destination from Chiang Mai after Da Nang and Hanoi, to operate from October 30, and Malaysia AirAsia to Kuala Lumpur. TAA also flies eight domestic routes from the northern Thailand city. “Chiang Mai remains a strategic hub for Thai AirAsia and is one of the fastest growing,” AirAsia Chiang Mai station manager, Surapun Homkajorn, said. “Demand for domestic routes has increased significantly since the third quarter as we resume international routes.”
