AirAsia Thailand to inaugurate Chiang Mai-Singapore in early 2023

Read More » Announcing the route, the LCC also revealed it will expand its Chiang Mai-based fleet to four aircraft in anticipation of growth in December. “As travel demand is increasing, AirAsia is introducing a variety of new routes, focusing on international journeys to help boost the economy,” AirAsia Thailand CEO, Santisuk Klongchaiya, said. “Direct Chiang Mai-Singapore will give people of the north a convenient and affordable way to reach Singapore while Singaporeans can easily head to the unique city. It will benefit the economies of both locations.” The LCC operates eight domestic and five international routes out of Chiang Mai.
