Australian airline, Bonza, commenced commercial flying on January 31 operating its inaugural flight with a 737 MAX 8, registration VH-UIK, from Sunshine Coast Airport to Whitsunday Coast Airport in Queensland. Read More » The LCC, controlled by 777 Partners, is the first operator of the 737 MAX in Australia. It has a launch flying schedule of 27 services to 17 destinations. “Today’s milestone flight comes at a time when demand is high for Aussies to explore their own backyard,” Bonza CEO, Tim Jordan, said. “What our first customers will experience on board is a fresh approach to flying where we keep the bar high on quality and costs low.”
