Vietjet to establish Kazakhstan LCC affiliate

The two carriers intend to jointly develop and operate Vietjet Qazaqstan as a “new-age, low-cost airline” and added Vietjet Qazaqstan has signed an agreement with Boeing to support its future 737 fleet. “Vietjet Qazaqstan is set to operate at least 20 737s enabling a strong expansion of its domestic and international route network,” Vietjet said. “Vietjet will bring [to the partnership] deep expertise in modern airline operations, cutting-edge technology and a global partner network,” it added. Vietjet Qazaqstan is Vietjet’s second international affiliate after Vietjet Thailand.
