Emirates Airline heading to Hangzhou in second half of year

Emirates Airline will add Hangzhou to its China network from July 30 when it will introduce daily nonstop Dubai to the east coast Chinese city. Read More » Hangzhou is Emirates’ fifth destination in China alongside Beijing, Guangzhou, Shanghai and Shenzhen. From July 30, Emirates will be operating 49 flights a week between Dubai and China. “Launching Dubai-Hangzhou marks a pivotal moment in our operations in the Chinese mainland and broader East Asia region,” Emirates chief commercial officer, Adnan Kazim, said. “As an emerging global hub for innovation, e-commerce and advanced manufacturing, Hangzhou will open doors to opportunities for our passenger and cargo operations, strengthening vital economic and technological exchanges between the Middle East and China.” Emirates will be the second airline to fly nonstop Hangzhou-Dubai alongside Air China. China’s flag carrier commenced flying to Dubai in 2023 and operates three times a week between the two destinations.
