Philippine Airlines and Alaska Airlines to launch frequent flyer partnership

They also are exploring code-sharing to expand options for customers flying between the U.S. and the Philippines. PAL, which flies to Honolulu, Los Angeles, New York JFK, San Francisco and Seattle in the U.S., is a frequent flyer partner with Alaska Airlines Group carrier, Hawaiian Airlines. “We are proud to partner with Alaska Airlines to deliver even greater value to our Mabuhay Miles members,” PAL vice president for marketing, Alvin Miranda, said. Alaska Airlines chief commercial officer, Andrew Harrison, said: “Philippine Airlines is a terrific addition to our roster of global airlines offering world-class service and amenities. The large Filipino communities in Hawaii, California and Washington state will soon be able to travel on Philippine Airlines long-haul, wide-body aircraft and earn valuable Mileage Plan miles on their trans-Pacific journeys.”
