Rolls-Royce and Turkish Technic will establish a state-of-the-art independent centre at Istanbul Airport. As the newest member of the Rolls-Royce MRO network, the centre will reinforce Turkish Technic’s standing at the forefront of the maintenance industry, while complementing Rolls-Royce’s existing MRO footprint and address growing long-term demand for new civil large engines, a joint statement said.
Teleport has partnered with SF Express to share space for greater cargo flows between India, China and Southeast Asia. The company has started moving goods on SF’s Madras-Bangkok lane with more routes planned.
Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) has completed the previously announced 100% acquisition of Nordic Aviation Capital and its consolidated subsidiaries from NAC Holdings Limited. The deal is valued at approximately US$2 billion.
The Malaysian Aviation Commission has introduced an advanced version of its Airline and Airport Performance Dashboard. It includes detailed insights into the performance of domestic and international airlines operating in Malaysia. It provides users with data on on-time performance, cancellations, delays and reasons for disruptions in flight schedules.
DSV has launched airfreight charter operations between the U.S. and China. The “Shanghai Star” round-trip service will fly Chicago-Shanghai multiple times a week.
