Changi Airport Group reports 68% increase in net profit in latest fiscal year

Singapore’s Changi Airport Group (CAG) has recorded a net profit of S$685 million (US$533 million) for the 12 months to March 31 compared with a net profit of S$407 million a year ago. Read More » Revenue improved 13%, to S$3.1 billion, CAG said. “Changi Airport benefitted from broad-based traffic growth, the launch of services by new airlines and the addition of new city links,” CAG CEO, Yam Kum Weng, said. “The global economic environment is in flux and the impact of trade tensions on the aviation industry is far from certain. It is important for CAG to focus on our fundamentals to improve our operational capabilities and efficiency.”
