Korean Air releases upcycled merchandise made from retired A380

Read More » The aircraft, registration HL7612, entered service in July 2011 and was retired in March 2020 after 41,898 flight hours. “These A380 items are also the first upcycled products to feature Korean Air’s newly redesigned Taegeuk mark, unveiled in March this year,” KAL said. “Due to the limited usable surface area of the A380 fuselage, production is restricted to 2,500 name tags and 500 golf ball marker sets.” The products are available from KAL’s e-Skyshop. The Skyteam alliance member said this was the sixth series of upcycled goods made from retired aircraft fuselages. The previous series in April featured keyrings made from 777-200ER registration HL7574.
