Air China passengers recorded edged higher in May

Air China transported 14 million passengers on its domestic, international and regional networks in May, up 5.6% from the 12.7 million travellers the airline flew in the same month in 2024. Read More » International passengers increased 14.8%, to 1.5 million, domestic passengers booked were higher by 4.6%, to 11.5 million, and regional passengers carried numbered 390,500 or 2.2% more in the 31 days. Capacity expanded 4.5% compared with 12 months ago and passenger load factor was up 2.9% at 81.3%. The Air China fleet stood at 936 aircraft on May 31 an increase of two airplanes from the end of April.
