Embraer and Virgin Australia (VA) have signed a multi-year contract for Embraer’s Component Pool Program. The airline will be supported by Embraer on a wide range of component exchanges and repair services for eight E190-E2s soon to join the VA fleet.
Embraer also has confirmed a multi-year contract with Hunnu Air for the Pool Program. The Mongolian airline will receive support for a wide range of repairable components for the two E195-E2s being accepted into its fleet. The Pool Program supports more than 60 airlines worldwide.
Lessor Regional One and Bridges Air Cargo will be the launch customer for Embraer’s passenger-to-freight (P2F), E-Freighter E190F conversion. The jet, the first of two conversions, is expected to start operating with Bridges in the third quarter of this year.
All Nippon Airways (ANA) will sponsor Olympic gold medalist skateboarder, Yuto Horigome, as he sets his sights on more gold at 2028 Summer Games in Los Angeles.
The CAE Philippines joint venture with Cebu Pacific is installing an A330neo FFS at the LCC’s Clark training centre with operations planned from year-end 2026. The new simulator will join the airline’s A320 and ATR 72-600 simulators already online at the training centre.
Australian based airline, Skytrans, a subsidiary of Avia Solutions Group and the group’s first ACMI provider in Australia, has added a second A319 to its fleet.
