India and South Korea regulators order Boeing fuel switches inspections

"The other pilot responded he did not do so." Some airlines have told Reuters they have been checking relevant switches since a 2018 FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) advisory. Other carriers have ordered additional or new checks on the type’s fuel mechanisms following the report’s publication. In the Asia-Pacific, SIA Group and Korean Air have begun to proactively inspect fuel control switches, media reports. EVA Airways, All Nippon Airways and Qantas Airways have been inspecting Boeing aircraft fuel switches since the 2018 FAA advisory was issued, they said.
