Read More » The Kerala city will be Akasa Air’s 24th domestic destination and its 30th route overall since it launched three years ago. "The city’s unique cultural character and thriving economy combined with Kerala’s renewed emphasis on tourism and infrastructure, make it an instrumental addition to our network," Akasa Air co-founder and chief commercial officer, Praveen Iyer, said. "It will enhance connectivity between India’s commercial capital and the Malabar Coast and act as a catalyst for trade, tourism and economic opportunities." At present, IndiGo and SpiceJet fly nonstop Mumbai-Kozhikode.
