EVA Airways and Southwest Airlines agree to interline

EVA Airways has expanded its North American network with the signing of a partnership with Southwest Airline. Read More » Customers of EVA will be able to book connecting itineraries on a single ticket to 30 destinations served by Southwest from Chicago O’Hare, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle and have their luggage checked to final destinations. The Taiwan-based airline operates 89 flights a week to eight cities in North America: Chicago O’Hare, Houston, Los Angeles, New York JFK, San Francisco, Seattle, Toronto and Vancouver. The frequency of flights to the U.S. will increase to 94 flights weekly when EVA inaugurates nonstop Taipei-Dallas/Fort Worth on October 3. The interline agreement adds to the Star Alliance member’s existing partnerships with Air Canada, Alaska Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, JetBlue and United Airlines.
