Lion Group carrier, Batik Air Malaysia, will start nonstop Kuala Lumpur-Osaka on December 15 with a three times a week rotation flown with two-class A330-300s. Read More » Osaka will be Batik Air Malaysia’s second destination in Japan alongside nonstop Kuala Lumpur-Tokyo Narita. "Japan continues to be a dream destination for many Malaysians and Osaka holds a unique charm with its rich history, vibrant urban culture and extraordinary food scene," Batik Air CEO, Datuk Chandran Rama Muthy, said. "By reintroducing this route with the A330 we are reconnecting two dynamic cities and elevating the journey with added comfort and convenience. Batik Air Malaysia suspended its 737 Kuala Lumpur–Taipei Taoyuan-Kansai schedule at year end 2024.
