Vietjet accepts A330-300 into fleet

Vietjet has taken delivery of an A330-300 to support its international expansion and meet demand for a forecast year-end travel surge. Read More » The aircraft, registration VN-A820, touched down at Ho Chi Minh City last weekend after a ferry flight from Paris Orly. The twin aisle, which rolled off the Airbus Final Assembly Line in 2012, is powered by Rolls-Royce Trent 700 engines. Previously it flew with France-based Corsair. It was withdrawn from operations last November flight tracking websites show. The arrival of the A330-300 at Vietjet increases the LCC’s fleet to 121 aircraft. "The aircraft will be deployed immediately on services to Australia, India, Japan and Kazakhstan, offering passengers enhanced comfort and a modern inflight experience," Vietjet said.
