Turkish Technic and Garuda Indonesia have signed two multi-year agreements covering the landing gear overhaul services of several Garuda Indonesia A330s and 777s.

HAECO and Airbus Services company, Satair, have agreed to expand the scope of supply of expendables, specifically the Airbus Standard Parts for all operating companies under HAECO Group. The Hong Kong headquartered MRO also has signed its first direct GE engine overhaul contract with Garuda Indonesia.

Greater Bay Airlines has begun flying twice a week Hong Kong to Datong in Shanxi province increasing the value carrier’s China network to eight destinations.

Joramco, an MRO facility and engineering arm of Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE), has signed a maintenance agreement with Air India to perform heavy maintenance checks on Air India’s B787s and B777s.

China Airlines (CAL) and Lufthansa Technik have extended their MRO contract to secure component supply for CAL’s existing 777 and future 787 fleets. The new contract, to run for two decades, complements an existing Lufthansa Technik agreement with CAL for the airline’s A330s and A350s. Ten 777-300ERs, ten 777Fs, 18 787-9 and six 787-10s are scheduled to join its fleet, CAL said.

AerFin has accepted a second B777-300ER, previously operated by Japan Airlines, the company’s third acquisition of the aircraft type.
