Etihad Airways touches down in Medan and Phnom Penh

Etihad Airways has commenced nonstop Abu Dhabi to Medan in Indonesia and Phnom Penh in Cambodia. Read More » The inaugural Abu Dhabi-Medan service touched down on October 3 and Etihad’s first flight to Phnom Penh landed the following day. Both routes will be operated with A321LRs configured with first, business and economy cabins. To Medan will be three times weekly and Phnom Penh four times weekly. Etihad is the only airline flying nonstop to the two destinations. "We are proud to expand our network in Southeast Asia, inviting more guests across the region to explore our home with a convenient and direct route to Abu Dhabi, creating new connections for commerce and tourism between Abu Dhabi and the region," Etihad CEO, Antonoaldo Neves, said. "Both Sumatra and Phnom Penh are extraordinary destinations with both natural and man-made wonders to offer and explore."
