Garuda Indonesia in the market for fresh capital

Read More » Under the scheme, DAM will directly invest in Garuda Indonesia and convert its shareholder loans to shares. Garuda Indonesia intends to use the net proceeds, which excluded transaction costs, for working capital and operations including payment of aircraft maintenance and repair costs and also for reducing debt. The flag carrier said the recovery of passenger traffic had been slower than its initial projections which had hampered its turnaround. The proposed capital rising will requires shareholder approval at an extraordinary general meeting scheduled for November 12.
