Oman Air and Qantas Airways have expanded their frequent flyer partnership to include the ability to earn points and status credits on each other’s flights. Read More » The enhanced agreement builds on the partnership of the two carriers launched in October 2024. It allowed members of Oman Air’s Sindbad program and Qantas’s frequent flyer program to use miles to redeem flights on either carrier. The ability to earn miles and status credits follows Oman Air officially joining the oneworld airline marketing alliance last June. "By building on our existing redemption arrangement, we are delivering even greater value and a truly seamless loyalty experience for our members, while making journeys to and beyond Muscat even more appealing," Oman Air head of partnerships and alliances, Rohan Patell, said. Qantas head of airline loyalty, Kate Sherwood, said: "Qantas Frequent Flyers already have access to tens of thousands of reward seats across the Oman Air network. We have seen strong demand from members since launching our partnership last year. Now, with the opportunity for members to earn Qantas Points and Status Credits, travel with Oman Air across Asia, Europe and the Middle East will be even more rewarding."
