All Nippon Airways (ANA) has launched a new AI chat platform to support its staff working in flight operations, including airport, maintenance, cabin and flight operations teams. The neoAI Chat, developed with neoAI Corporation, was expected to cut manual and regulation search time by up to 90%, ANA said, while report and training manual creation was 75% faster. "This implementation is designed to enhance our operational quality and deliver a higher standard of safe and secure services to our customers," ANA said.

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has unveiled an integrated sustainability program, covering environmental management, sustainable procurement, social responsibility and sustainability performance. The airline lobby group said Air New Zealand and EVA Air were the first two carriers to receive the sustainable procurement certification under the program.

Sydney Airport has awarded a contract to SSP to operate eight food outlets at the airport, comprising five units at Terminal 3 and three units at Terminal 2. SSP already operates a number of units at Sydney Airport.

Korean Air has selected the Airbus Skywise Fleet Performance+ platform to support its maintenance program. The platform uses data analytics to alert the airline to potential component issues before they occur, which will support its fleet integration with Asiana Airlines as part of the merger between the two carriers.
