China Southern Airlines registered 14.2 million air passengers in September

China Southern Airlines (CSA) said passengers carried last month increased 3.5%, to 14.2 million, from the 13.7 million air travellers a year ago. Read More » In the 30 days, domestic travellers flown by CSA were better by 2.8%, at 12.3 million, and international passenger numbers were higher by 9.8% at 1.7 million. CSA’s regional air travellers declined 5.3% to 142,590 customers. Passenger load factor climbed 0.7 of a percentage point, to 86.3% in the month and passenger capacity rose 4.4%. At September 30, CSA had 956 aircraft, an increase of six airliners from August 31. CSA added two A321neos, one A320neos, three 737 MAX 8s and one C919 to its fleet while retiring one A319, one 737-700 and one E190.
