Asiana Airlines will shift its flight operation at Seoul Incheon from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2 on January 14 next year as part of its integration with Korean Air. The terminal change will bring the two South Korean airlines under the same roof.
IndiGo has selected Bluebox Aviation Systems to supply wireless inflight entertainment services on its A321XLR aircraft. The system will be installed as a line-fit solution on the Airbus open software platform.
Lion Air Group carriers Batik Air Indonesia, Batik Air Malaysia and Thai Lion Air will today (November 11) shift their operations at Singapore Changi Airport to Terminal 4, from Terminal 3. "With a capacity of up to 16 million passengers per year, T4 provides a faster, more practical, and comfortable travel experience for all Lion Group customers," Lion Air Group said.
Emirates Group, comprising Emirate Airline and ground handler dnata, has reported net profit of 10.6 billion dirham (US$2.9 billion) for the six months to September 30 2025, up 13% from net profit of 9.3 billion dirham in the same six months in 2024. Revenue rose 4% to 75.4 billion dirham, the company said. "Global demand for air transport and travel services has been buoyant, despite geo-political events and economic concerns in some markets," Emirates Group chair and CEO, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, said. "We expect this demand resilience to continue for the rest of 2025-26 and look forward to increasing our capacity to grow revenues as new A350 aircraft join the Emirates fleet, and new facilities come online at dnata."
