Air China grows passenger numbers above 14 million in October

Air China flew 14.6 million passengers on its domestic, international and regional networks in September, up by 5.7% from the 13.8 million travellers it carried in the same month in 2024. Read More » In the reported 31 days, international passenger numbers flown were higher by 18%, at 1.7 million and regional passengers advanced 8.8%, to 431,900. The Star Alliance member’s domestic network posted the slowest growth, at 4.2%, to 12.5 million passengers. Capacity expanded 4.3% compared with 12 months ago and passenger load factor rose 3.4 percentage points to 85.3%. Air China’s fleet stood at 949 aircraft on October 31, an increase of three from the end of September.
