The European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the International Air Transport Association (IATA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding to explore synergies between the European Union Flight Emissions Label and IATA’s existing environmental data management ecosystem–IATA’s EcoHub and the IATA CO₂ Connect calculator.
The Hong Kong International Aviation Academy (HKIAA) and HK Express Airways (HK Express) proudly announced the recruitment of 11 graduates from HKIAA’s first intake of Cadet Pilot Programme as HK Express’s Second Officers. It is also the first airline to employ cadet pilots from HKIAA.
Vietjet Air has once again been named among “Vietnam best places to work 2025” at an awards ceremony organized by Anphabe under the auspices of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI).
Avolon has agreed to lease two Airbus A321neo aircraft to Royal Jordanian Airlines. The agreement adds to the eight A320neos that Avolon agreed to lease to the airline earlier this year, of which seven have already been delivered.
Under a Memorandum of Understanding signed between Emirates and Rolls-Royce, Emirates will perform Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) for the Trent 900 engines powering its own A380 fleet from 2027. Emirates has also extended the TotalCare service agreement with Rolls-Royce for its A380s into the 2040s.
