Vietnam’s start-up airline Sun PhuQuoc Airways (SPA) has been granted an expanded Air Operator Certificate (AOC), authorising its international operations. Just 25 days after our very first takeoff on November 1, Sun PhuQuoc Airways has officially been granted an expanded Air Operator Certificate (AOC) by the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam on November 25, 2025,” the company stated. With the expanded AOC, Sun PhuQuoc Airways will begin launching its first international routes in March 2026, starting with the Seoul-Phu Quoc and Taipei-Phu Quoc, followed by Busan-Phu Quoc in September 2026 and Kaohsiung-Phu Quoc in October 2026. On November 24, the airline accepted its fourth aircraft, an Airbus A321, and is planning to receive the fifth one this month.
