Aviation services provider, AAR Corp, has signed a multi-year extension of its global distribution agreement with Collins Aerospace, including its Goodrich de-icing and specialty systems products.
Air China and Rolls-Royce have cut the ribbon on their Beijing Aero Engine Services Co (BAESL) joint venture, an MRO workshop for Trent 700, Trent XWB-84 and Trent 1000 engines. "The opening of BAESL not only supports our long-term growth in the Chinese market, but contributes to our ambition to significantly increase our global MRO capacity by 2030," Rolls-Royce director for commercial aviation aftermarket operations, Paul Keenan, said.
Air New Zealand is expected to carry about 6,000 tonnes of freight out of New Zealand from December to January. The top three export items were 700 tonnes of capsicums, 615 tonnes of cherries and 470 tonnes of salmon.
All Nippon Airways and sustainable textile art company, Loveco, have released an "upcycle flower" made from old 787 fabric seat covers and ground staff uniforms to reduce waste and make effective use of resources. Limited quantities of the flower will go on sale later this week.
