Air Canada announced "the only non-stop flights from North America to Sapporo" launch in December 2026

Air Canada said on December 17, 2026, it will launch the seasonal Vancouver-Sapporo route, operated three times per week, until March 26, 2027, with Boeing 787 aircraft. The Star Alliance member carrier currently operates year-round services to Tokyo-Narita and Tokyo-Haneda, and summer seasonal services to Osaka-Kansai.
