Air Astana headed to Shanghai

Kazakhstan-headquartered Air Astana will add a fifth nonstop route to Mainland China next month when it begins three times weekly flights to Shanghai Pudong from its Almaty hub. Read More » The service is scheduled to begin on March 29 and will be flown by A321 aircraft. Shanghai will join Beijing Capital, Guangzhou, Sanya and Urumqi in Air Astana’s Mainland China network. "Shanghai is China’s financial and business capital, a city of ultra-modern skyscrapers, rich history and cultural diversity," Air Astana said. "The city is known for its gastronomy and harmonious combination of traditional Chinese culture with the dynamic rhythm of a metropolis, making it attractive to both tourists and business travellers."
