Auckland Airport interim net profit falls 5.5%

Auckland Airport reported net profit of NZ$177 million (US$106 million) for the six months to December 31 2025, down 5.5% from NZ$187.3 million in the same six months in 2024. Read More » Revenue rose 3.9% to NZ$519.6 million, Auckland Airport said in a regulatory filing. Looking ahead, the company said aeronautical and commercial activity was expected to "continue its positive trajectory" through to the end of the 2025/26 financial year on June 30. The airport is forecasting underlying profit before tax in the vicinity of NZ$295 million and NZ$320 million for the full financial year. In 2024/25, Auckland Airport achieved underlying profit before tax of NZ$310.4 million. "While the passenger demand trajectory is certainly positive, we expect the ongoing global fleet shortages to continue to weigh on the availability of new seat capacity supply and the pace of growth in the near term," Auckland Airport CEO, Carrie Hurihanganui said.
