AirAsia Indonesia posts 1.3 trillion rupiah annual loss

PT AirAsia Indonesia Tbk has reported a 1.3 trillion rupiah (US$77 million) net loss for the 12 months to December 31 2025, compared with a net loss of 1.5 trillion rupiah in calendar 2024. The company said its operational performance last year was impacted by a temporary reduction in seat capacity due to aircraft maintenance requirements. AirAsia Indonesia acting CEO, Captain Achmad Sadikin Abdurachman, said the reduced net loss in 2025 was underpinned by a focus on strengthening flight connectivity while maintaining operational efficiency. Looking ahead, Captain Achmad said the airline was looking to grow its route network, including strengthening Bali’s role as an international hub.
