Garuda Indonesia introduces “unlimited rescheduling options”

Garuda Indonesia announced it introduced a new travel flexibility policy, offering unlimited flight rescheduling options with no additional fees, as well as refund options of up to 100% prior to departure for ticket bookings and travel periods starting from April 7, 2026. We understand that every trip comes with its own dynamics, making flexibility an essential element in delivering a travel experience that remains relevant to our customers’ needs,” said Reza Aulia Hakim, Garuda Indonesia’s Director of Commercial. For flight changes, passengers holding first-class, business-class, and economy-class tickets are entitled to unlimited rescheduling without additional charges. Meanwhile, passengers with economy promo tickets are allowed to make one change without incurring any fees. This policy applies to both domestic and international flights. For refunds, passengers on international flights with first class, business class, or economy comfort tickets are eligible for a 100% refund. Meanwhile, passengers with first-class, business-class, and economy flexible and promo tickets will be subject to applicable refund fees based on their respective routes. For domestic flights, refund policies for comfort fare categories will be subject to the selected fare conditions, with refund fees starting from 25%. “The introduction of this policy further reinforces Garuda Indonesia’s commitment as the national flag carrier to continuously deliver services that are adaptive and relevant to evolving customer needs amid the dynamic aviation industry,” Reza concluded.
