Hong Kong forecast to grow passenger capacity 10% in three months to June: Report

The Singapore and Thailand markets were experiencing softness, the report said. Airlines such Cathay Pacific and Singapore Airlines (SIA) have reported strong passenger growth for March as the closure of hubs in the Gulf region has led to passengers seeking alternative ways to reach Europe from Asia and Australia. Cathay and SIA passenger numbers rose 24.5% and 14.9%, respectively, year-on-year in March.
