Read More » Revenue fell 7% to 12.7 billion euro, Airbus said in a regulatory filing. The company has maintained its target of 870 commercial aircraft deliveries for calendar 2026. "The Q1 results reflect the lower level of commercial aircraft deliveries and a strong performance in our Defence and Space division," Airbus CEO, Guillaume Faury, said. "The operating environment remains dynamic and complex. We are closely monitoring the potential impact from the fast-changing situation in the Middle East." Airbus said the availability of Pratt & Whitney engines remained the "key pacer of the ramp up trajectory" for its A320 program, with the shortage expected to impact production in 2026 and 2027. The airframer said it expected to reach a production rate of 70 to 75 A320 family aircraft per month by the end of 2027. "In commercial aircraft, we continue to ramp up and produce as per our plan while navigating the shortage of Pratt & Whitney engines," Faury said.
