IndiGo adds new domestic route from Mumbai

IndiGo has commenced flying nonstop between Mumbai and Jamnagar in Gujarat state along India’s west coast. Read More » The daily nonstop service operated by A320 family aircraft took off late last week. Jamnagar is the sixth destination IndiGo flies to in Gujarat state alongside existing service out of Ahmedabad, Bhavnagar, Rajkot, Surat and Vadodara. "IndiGo continues to support the growing travel demand in Gujarat driven by its strong industrial base, trade linkages, and global diaspora," IndiGo said. The airline operates over 700 weekly departures from the state, offering direct connectivity to more than 30 domestic destinations, besides convenient, one-stop connections to over 40 international cities including Singapore, Bangkok, Nairobi, Shanghai, London, and many more." The LCC is one of two airlines serving Jamnagar from Mumbai alongside Air India.
