Taiwan-headquartered China Airlines (CAL) has launched a new range of seven desserts and drinks in partnership with Le Ruban Pâtisserie. The new items, which include lemon sandwich cookies, red oolong egg rolls and mullet roe nougat crackers, will be offered on all routes and all cabins from next month. CAL and Le Ruban Pâtisserie have worked together since 2022.

Embraer delivered 10 commercial aircraft in the three months to March 31 this year, up from seven deliveries of its E175, E190-E2 and E195-E2 jets in the same three months in 2025. The company is targeting 80 to 85 commercial aircraft deliveries for 2026. The backlog, by value, stood at US$15 billion at March 31, up 50% from US$10 billion a year earlier.

UPS has reported operating profit of US$1.3 billion for the three months to March 31 2026, down 23.9% from US$1.7 billion in the same three months in 2025. Revenue fell 1.6% to US$21.2 billion, the company said in a regulatory filing. "The first quarter of 2026 marked a critical transition period for UPS in which we needed to flawlessly execute several major strategic actions and we delivered," UPS CEO, Carol Tomé, said. "With that behind us, we expect to return to consolidated revenue and operating profit growth, and adjusted operating margin expansion in the second quarter of this year."
