Changi Airport Group (CAG) and SF Group (SF) have signed a memorandum of understanding under which the Mainland China-headquartered logistics company will establish a cargo hub at Singapore’s Changi Airport. It will be SF’s first overseas hub. "Singapore is a key node in SF’s global expansion strategy," SF Group chair, Dick Wong, said. "Through deeper cooperation with CAG, SF will further optimise its resources across the Southeast Asia, South Asia and Oceania regions."
Eve Air Mobility has reported a net loss of US$68.8 million for the three months to March 31 2026, compared with a net loss of US$48.8 million in the same three months of 2025. The electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) company, which is pre-revenue during the development phase of its aircraft, said research and development (R&D) costs rose 32.2% to US$59.1 million in the quarter. "This increase reflects the intensifying R&D activity, including eVTOL development, greater engagement with suppliers, and the allocation of Embraer engineering resources to our project," Eve said in a regulatory filing.
Malaysia Airlines and Tourism New Zealand have signed a two-year strategic partnership which aims to increase the number of visitor arrivals to New Zealand. The Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) carrier flies 10 times a week between Kuala Lumpur and Auckland. "As both nations continue to deepen collaboration, Malaysia Airlines is proud to connect Asia and beyond to Aotearoa through our direct Kuala Lumpur–Auckland service and premium travel experience," MAG CEO of airline business, Bryan Foong, said, referring to New Zealand by its Māori-language name.
