SWISS adds Bengaluru as its third destination in India

Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) announced that in the Northern Winter Season 2025/27, it will launch the Zurich-Bengaluru (formerly Bangalore) route, operated five times per week with Airbus A350-900 aircraft. Read More » “India’s Silicon Valley has a lot to offer both leisure and business travelers, and is also a perfect gateway for exploring Southern India. Our new Bengaluru service is particularly aimed at meeting the growing demand among the business community for direct flights to this major technology hub,” SWISS CEO Jens Fehlinger said. Bengaluru is SWISS’s third Indian destination, joining Delhi and Mumbai.

The Swiss carrier said that its growing fleet of Airbus A350 will allow it to upgrade some of its long-haul operations to this aircraft, including on the Zurich-Shanghai services from as early as September.
