Read More » It was the strongest percentage increase among the six regions measured in an International Air Transport Association (IATA) report. Overall, bookings were 6% higher. The airline lobby group said the flight booking data showed passengers were choosing to travel shorter distances, with travel within each region outpacing reservations for travel beyond the region in all markets except the Middle East.
