ANA reports double-digit lift in international passengers for April

All Nippon Airways (ANA) flew 804,339 passengers on its international network in April, up 14.2% from 704,150 flown in the same month in 2025. Read More » Capacity, or available seat kilometres (ASK), expanded 6.1%, while demand, measured by revenue passenger kilometres (RPK), was 12.7% higher in the month. With demand rising faster than capacity, passenger load factor improved 5.1 percentage points to 86.3%. There was also passenger growth on the Star Alliance member’s domestic network, albeit at a more moderate pace - passengers carried was 6.1% higher at 3.4 million. ANA trimmed domestic capacity 2.3% in the month, while RPKs climbed 6.3%. Passenger load factor on its domestic flights was up six percentage points at 74.5%. April was the second consecutive month ANA’s domestic passenger load factor had climbed by six percentage points or more, having risen 7.9 percentage points year-on-year in March.
