Read More » Captain Izham stepped down as MAG CEO at the end of January this year, having spent four decades working with Malaysia Airlines and related companies. Also joining the PAL board as an independent director is Filipino business figure, Edgar Chua, the chair of Makati Business Group. "We are delighted to welcome Edgar Chua and Datuk Captain Izham Ismail to the Philippine Airlines board of directors," PAL chair and CEO, Dr. Lucio Tan, said. "Mr. Chua’s extensive business leadership experience and Captain Izham’s global aviation expertise will be invaluable as Philippine Airlines continues to pursue sustainable growth, strengthen governance and expand its role in connecting the Philippines to the world."
