China Aircraft Leasing Group has signed an agreement to sell two A321 aircraft to Global & Nippon Network Co, with the transaction to be completed by June 30 this year.
Air travel technology provider, SITA, has acquired developer Big Blue Analytics, the company behind the OCC Assistant Manager platform designed to support airlines quickly resolve disruptions in their operations.
JAL Engineering Co and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) have agreed to establish a new joint-venture company, Aero Breath Co, offering aircraft aftermarket services. JAL Engineering will hold 51% of Aero Breath Co, with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries owning the remaining 49%. The initial capital of Aero Breath, to be based at Aichi Prefectural Nagoya Airport, will be 79 billion yen (US$495,000), the pair said in a regulatory filing. The two companies first announced they were exploring collaboration in the aircraft aftermarket business in August 2024.
Sydney Airport has launched a request for proposal (RFP) for its food and beverage retail space at Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 precincts. The RFP closes on July 16.
