Greater Bay Airlines plans seasonal Urumqi offering

Greater Bay Airlines (GBA) is expanding its Mainland China network with nonstop flights to Urumqi from its Hong Kong hub due to take off in September. Read More » The airline will serve Urumqi, located in Xinjiang in western China, with three flights a week as a seasonal service between September 3 and October 7 “to meet the strong demand for the autumn travel season”. The route has been scheduled as an evening departure from Hong Kong and an overnight flight from Urumqi. Urumqi will be GBA's ninth destination in Mainland China alongside existing service to Datong, Dunhuang, Enshi, Guilin, Huangshan, Yichang, Zhangjiajie and Zhoushan. Currently, Cathay Pacific, China Southern Airlines and Xiamen Air offer nonstop flights on the Hong Kong-Urumqi route.
