Air India will offer customers the option of booking hotel accommodation alongside flight ticket sales on its website through a partnership with Booking.com. Members of the Star Alliance member’s Maharaja Club frequent flyer program will be able to earn five points for every 100 rupee (US$1.05) spent on accommodation booked through the dedicated platform.

Air Macau has selected dnata to supply inflight catering services at Singapore Changi Airport. The agreement expands dnata’s catering services at Singapore Changi to all Air China group airlines - Air China, Air Macau, Shandong Airlines and Shenzhen Airlines. "This scale reflects the trust our partners place in our teams, and our ability to deliver consistent, high-quality inflight dining at pace," dnata catering and retail Singapore managing director, Matthew Igo Ball, said.

China Aircraft Leasing Group Holdings (CALC) is acquiring 16 aircraft through the purchase of two special purpose vehicles owned by China Aircraft Global Limited. The 16 aircraft comprised 10 A320s, two A321s, one A330-200, two 737-900ERs and one 787-9, CALC said in a regulatory filing. China Aircraft Global is a wholly-owned subsidiary of CAG, an aircraft investment vehicle 20% owned by CALC and 80% owned by entities controlled by government bodies in Mainland China.

Christchurch Airport’s new freight apron commenced operations late last week. At the official opening, FedEx Express confirmed plans to build a new facility at the airport adjacent to the freight apron.
