Greater Bay Airlines plans seasonal Kunming offering

Greater Bay Airlines (GBA) is expanding its Mainland China network with nonstop flights to Kunming from its Hong Kong hub due to take off in September. Read More » The airline will serve Kunming, located in Yunnan province in south western China, with three flights a week as a seasonal service between September 3 and October 22 "to meet the demand of autumn travellers for direct travel to Yunnan". The route has been scheduled as a morning departure from Hong Kong and an afternoon departure from Kunming. The Yunnan province capital will be GBA’s 12th destination in Mainland China alongside year-round and seasonal service to Chongqing, Enshi, Datong, Guilin, Hohhot, Huangshan, Quanzhou, Xuzhou, Urumqi, Yichang, Zhangjiajie and Zhoushan. Currently, China Eastern Airlines is the only carrier offering nonstop flights on the Hong Kong-Kunming route.
