Lessor AerCap has commenced deliveries of the first of six A320neo family aircraft to Azerbaijan Airlines following the handover of an A321neo at the Airbus delivery centre in Hamburg late last week.

Bangkok Airways will raise its ownership stake in U-Tapao international Aviation Company (UTC), the operator of U-Tapao International Airport, through a 2 billion baht (US$60 million) investment. Currently, Bangkok Airways holds 40% of UTC. The increase in Bangkok Airways’ stake is part of UTC’s plan to grow its paid up capital from 15 billion baht to 20 billion baht.

FedEx has reported net profit of US$4.4 billion for the 12 months to May 31 2026, up 8.3% from net profit of US$4.1 billion in the previous 12-month period. Revenue rose 7.7% to US$94.7 billion, FedEx said in a regulatory filing. "FedEx delivered an impressive finish to a strong fiscal year, providing excellent service to our customers and successfully executing on our transformation initiatives," FedEx CEO, Raj Subramaniam, said. FedEx interim chief financial officer, Claude Russ, said: "As we look ahead, continued revenue and earnings growth momentum in our transition year positions us to unlock significant stockholder value through a resolute focus on driving unprecedented free cash flow growth."

Tikehau Capital has signed a binding agreement to sell its stake in metals design, production and processing company, Aubert & Duval, to other shareholders Airbus and Safran.
