HAECO said in its Hong Kong operations it is rolling out purpose-built smart tool carts to bring essential tools closer to the aircraft—helping teams work faster, safer, and with stronger tool control.

FL Technics Indonesia has opened a new aircraft painting facility at its Denpasar, Bali facility. The painting booth marks a significant expansion of the company’s full-service maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) capabilities in Southeast Asia.

MASkargo announced the expansion of its strategic partnership with Qatar Airways Cargo by jointly launching dedicated twice-weekly freighter operations, connecting Kuala Lumpur, Bengaluru and Doha. Operated by Qatar Airways Cargo Boeing 777 freighters, the new twice-weekly service on the KUL-BLR-DOH-KUL route provides an additional 200 tonnes of weekly cargo capacity between the stations across all products, including general cargo, perishables, pharmaceuticals and valuables.

Aircalin has finalized the financing for its first Airbus A350-900. The financing agreements were signed on July 6 with a banking consortium led by BPCE-Natixis CIB, following confirmation that the aircraft qualifies for France’s overseas tax incentive program. The financing package combines bank loans, Aircalin’s own equity and €70.1 million (US$80.1 million) in French government tax incentives. Participating lenders include BPCE-Natixis CIB, Banque Calédonienne d’Investissement (BCI), Banque de Nouvelle-Calédonie (BNC), BRED and CIC.

BOC Aviation has signed a lease agreement with Turkish low-cost carrier AJet for five Airbus A321neo aircraft, further expanding its relationship with the Turkish Airlines Group. The aircraft will be sourced from BOC Aviation’s existing orderbook, powered by Pratt & Whitney GTF engines, and are scheduled for delivery in 2028.
