Airbus records 15% increase in first half deliveries

Airbus delivered 351 aircraft to 77 customers in the first half of 2026, 15% more than during the same period last year, marking the company’s strongest first-half performance since 2019. Earlier this week, Reuters reported that the good delivery rate is the result of a temporary surge, as Airbus continues to catch up on delayed deliveries to China and benefits from easing disruptions to engine supplies. According to the news agency, the OEM has set an internal goal of exceeding 900 deliveries for the first time this year, though it is keeping its official full-year guidance of 870 deliveries unchanged.
