Read More » The Boeing narrow body, registration 9M-MVS, touched down at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) on Saturday, following its three-day ferry flight from Boeing Field in Washington State in the U.S. via Honolulu and Guam. The arrival of the Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) carrier’s 19th 737 MAX 8 is about six weeks after the 18th 738 MAX 8 joined the fleet. The airline group has a total of 43 737 MAX 8s and 12 737 MAX 10s on order, with deliveries running through to 2030. "This newest addition represents more than a growing fleet," Malaysia Airlines said. "It means more opportunities to bring people closer to the destinations and connections they cherish, while delivering the warmth of Malaysian hospitality every step of the way." The oneworld alliance member’s 737 MAX 8s have been configured with 12 business and 162 economy seats for a total of 174.
